Being Salt and Light: Impacting Our World for Christ

Today, we will reflect on what it means to be salt and light from a theological perspective, understanding our role and responsibility in impacting the world for Christ. 1. Salt: Preserving and Flavoring Jesus said, "You are the salt of the earth." In ancient times, salt was used primarily for two purposes: preservation and flavoring. Spiritually, as followers of Christ, we are called to preserve the truth and righteousness of God's Word in a world that often succumbs to moral decay. We are also called to bring the flavor of God's love, grace, and mercy into every aspect of our lives and interactions.
